Employment Court Judgements over 30 Plus years
Established by the Employment Contracts Act 1991 the Court, together with the Employment Tribunal, have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine proceedings founded on an employment contract.
It has both an appellate jurisdiction to hear appeals against Employment Tribunal decisions and a first instance jurisdiction including injunctive relief, plus the common law remedy of wrongful dismissal.
